🌧️🌼 April Showers, Springtime Reads & Lessons in Chemistry Obsession 🌼🌧️
Hey babes! 💛
April has me in my feels — rainy skies, pastel flowers, a cozy oversized sweater, and a book that I literally can’t put down. I’m talking about Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus, of course.🎧 Audible Link | 📖 Paperback Link
I started this on Audible and… I’m not kidding, I’m OBSESSED. It’s smart, sassy, feminist, emotional, and unexpectedly hilarious. It’s got ✨ layers ✨ and has sparked something in me — especially in the kitchen. 👩🍳💫
So naturally, I decided to create healthy, easy recipes inspired by the characters, because this book made me fall in love with cooking again (with a little science on the side 🧪).
Let’s get into it:

A review of: The Housemaid by Freida McFadden
This is my first time writing a book review, soooo I’m just going to try my best!
The Housemaid is about a broke ex con, Millie, who gets a job as a housemaid in a wealthy home. The woman of the house (her boss) is brutal and basically treats her like shit. And her daughter isn’t any better. Some of things she puts her through are so frustrating to read because Millie just accepts it, doesn’t even try to fight back.
However, the man of the house is kind and sweet. He basically befriends Millie. It was shocking he would be married to this miserable woman.
Then, like any good mystery book, the story takes a turn midway through. Major plot twist and I won’t say anymore because I have a big mouth and will spoil it!
Overall, I enjoyed the book.…
Sounds like a great book! Is it tbr worthy?
